Bronson is located in Branch County, which is in the lower peninsula of Michigan. The City is located in between Chicago and Detroit on the historic Heritage Trail, U.S. 12. Bronson has a total area of 1.4 square miles according to the United States Census Bureau. The census of 2000, there were 2,421 people, 891 households and 601 families living in the city. Bronson is known as the largest producer of fresh cut gladiolus in the United States, and has the world's largest snowmobile auction, and a city hall made of plastic that was constructed in just 14 hours.
